A Taste of Richmond is a benefit party to raise money to support local charities, including the Richmond Emergency Food Pantry, Youth Enrichment Strategies, Rubicon Programs and the Bay Area Rescue Mission. Members of the Richmond Yacht Club have organized an evening designed to showcase the best of Richmond's restaurants serving "tastes" of their showcase items, paired with wine and beer tastings to complement each dish. A Taste of Richmond will be held the evening of Friday, August 20 from 6:00 to 8:30 near the Richmond Yacht Club.
