The Richmond Riviera Regatta combines all the things that we love about sailing on San Francisco Bay. At the Richmond Riviera Regatta you'll experience:

Great Sailing: San Francisco Bay in August provides abundant wind and warm sunshine.

Two Course Areas: "Deepwater Course" for IRC and bigger PHRF boats in the Central Bay and the "Riviera Course" for smaller PHRF boats in the North Bay.

Regatta Parties That Rock: Richmond Yacht Club throws the best regatta parties on the bay, and this will be no exception. Spectacular weather, awesome views, a rocking band, and great food are all part of the mix that will make this a memorable event.

Deserving Causes: This unique regatta is a chance to give back to a community in need. At the Richmond Yacht Club, we "Give Where We Live". We have not lost sight of the fact that our own community needs assistance, and though our own lives may be difficult in this economy, there are others less fortunate than we.

This year, the members of the Richmond Yacht Club have made a commitment to give back to our community.

We want to help build a future for our youth and the people of Richmond and we are asking for your support.  The Richmond Riviera Regatta is a chance to “give where we live”.  We have not lost sight of the fact that our community needs assistance and though our lives may be difficult in this economy, there are others less fortunate than us.

Sailors on the San Francisco Bay have long recognized Richmond’s location on the Bay as a real jewel.  This regatta promises spectacular weather, the very best sailing courses from an experienced race committee; and everyone knows the Richmond Yacht Club throws the best regatta parties on the bay.  Join us for a “Party with a Conscience.”  August 21-22, 2010 We’ll have a rocking band, warm sun on the docks and deck, great food, silent auctions, sponsorship events and awards ceremonies that will make this regatta a memorable event.
